About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

do I need a visa or am I qualified for the 72 hours free transit?

I arrive in Shanghai via cruise line from Singapore, Vietnam, Hongkong ,Xiamen, then take city tour and leave Shanghai on the same day.

Helen, I'm afraid you need a double-entry G type. Application documents may include your passport, a passport copy, a filled-out application form attached with a passport style color photo, cruise ticket, and a photocopy of the cruise itinerary.
