Question

Is it reasonable price?  Reading some of the websites, it looks like we would not need a private guide for this itinerary but it looks like it is included in the cost.  We would like to go to the West street than back to Guilin that evening.  Is it easy to find a good refutable taxi from Yangshou to GL?  How do we get to the West street from where we disembark the cruise ship?Thanks.James

It's a resonable price. If you have any doubt, you can confirm with the agency what's included in the quote before payment. What do you mean by would not need a private guide? Do you mean traveling independently by yourselves? If you are experienced travelers familiar with China, you can do it; otherwise, you'd better have a guide to accompany you. I'm afraid the drivers do not like to go that far from YS to GL. Try to find a GL taxi that going back or hire a private car. The cost does not differ much, CNY220-300. Another way is taking a long-distance bus back to GL. The departure station is very close to west street. There are buses to YS when you disembark the cruise ship. Upon arrival, you can just walk to west street.
