About:China Tourist Visa

Visa from another country

Hi
I have dual nationality Australian/Italian nationalities and have been living in Europe as an Italian. I want to apply for my Chinese entry permit as an Australian becasue I will then continue my return trip to Australia. Is that possible?
I read something about providing six months of bank statements, is that correct?
Thanks
Julian

Hi Julian! Generally speaking, the six months' bank statement is not required. It is only required for a few coutries. However, if you want to apply for the China entry permit at the CVASC branches in Italy, you should hold a resident card with at least six months of remaining validity. Otherwise, you may not submit the application successfully.
