About:Bao'en Temple Pagoda

is it possible to get a tourist visa in china for 3 months?

I will go to china to volunteer in an orphanage for three months. the owner of the institution sent me an invitation letter and asked me to apply for my entry permit.

Lys, according to your statement, I think the F type entry permit is more suitable for you as your main purpose is not visiting. If you apply for the F type, there is possibility that you will granted with a stay for three months. If you apply for the L type, the possibility is less.
