About:China Visa

Can I get 2 two transit G visas, one before and one after an 8 day cruise?

Flying from Canada to PVG Shanghai, hotel 1 night, cruise and return flight upon arrival of ship at Baoshan, Shanghai. Regards Jerry

Jerry, could you tell me how long will you stay in Shanghai on both ways so that I can tell whether you qualify for the 24 hour direct transit policy. If the layover for both times are longer than 24 hours, you should apply for a double-entry G type.
