About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Ph passport holder from Vancouver to Manila, layover in Shanghai

Hi! I am a Philippine Passport holder travelling from Manila to Vancouver in April. I will be having a 7-hour layover. Will I be allowed to go around Shanghai within the layover hours?

Joseph, as you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit policy, you can go around Shanghai within the layover hours by applying a temporary stay permit at the airport.
