About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

We are staying in Shanghai 72 hours but not in transit. do we need visa?

My husband and I are visiting our son who is studying in Shanghai our flights are booked London Shanghai London. we are only staying 72 hours.

Esther, if you are not going to a third destination country, you will have to apply for a tourist L type entry permit at the CVASC office in the UK. Application documents you need to prepare are your passports, a photocopy of the passports, application forms, bare-headed photos, and an invitation letter from your son.
