Hi I am a Zimbabwean with a south African permit and would like to go to China for shopping maximum 7 days. What type of entry permit do I need and can I apply for it from South Africa. Sikhululekile

Hey, you need to apply for a M type. It needs the invitation letter from a Chinese company. Since you have valid resident permit in SA, I think you can apply from Chinese embassy there.
