About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Visiting South Korea for 15 days and wanted to visit Beijing. What do I need?

I am a US citizen and will be travelling to Seoul to visit my son. I was thinking of flying over the weekend to Beijing (under 72 hours). ICN/PEK PEK/ICN.

Sorry, I am afraid that you are not qualified for 72 hours free transit because your departure city is the same as your destination (ICN).
