visa for guangzhou via hong kong

Question

I need to visit an educational agency in Guangzhou for one day from Hong Kong. Can the VOA at Shenzhen allow me to travel to Guangzhou on the same day then return on the same day to HK?

Clare, I am sorry to tell you that you can't go to Guangzhou with your five-day Shenzhen VOA. You need to apply one in advance. You are suggested to apply for it from the CVASC branch in your country rather than HK.
