About:Chinese Consulates in India

is there is any Chinese visa office in Chennai or in Tamil nadu?

I would be travelling for the first time to China to visit my daughter , who is studying medical there. what r the documents to be submitted? I m living in Chennai.

You need to go to the CVASC office in New Delhi. If you don't plan to stay for a long time in China, I suggest you apply for an L type entry permit with the following documents: a valid passport, a photocopy of the passport, a properly filled application form glued with your recently taken color bare-headed photo, an invitation letter from your daughter, a personal statement, and your work certificate or bank statement of the latest six months.
