Visa for exhibition

Hi this is the 1st time I hope to travel for an exhibition. My travel agent Tells without the authorized letter from China we can not apply. I hope to start purchasing and importing from China suppliers but don't know anyone that's why I want to visit.

Can't I apply only with pre registering, hotel reservation and ticket confirmation. Have my company statements as it is a business trip

Hi, Joe, what your agent said is right, you cannot apply for the entry permit without the authorized letter from China. I'm afraid the document you are providing are not enough for the appliction. Other materials you need to submit for applying a business M type entry permit are: a passport, a photocopy of the passport, an application form affixed with your bare-headed full-face photo, Original “Invitation Letter of Duly Authorized Unit” or “Confirmation Letter of Invitation” from Duly Authorized Unit in China, local company covering letter, less than three pages of the copy of local company bank statement (please bring the latest 3 months original one), and a copy of your company's Business Registration Certificate.
