About:Beijing Capital Airport Express Train

Subway crowds during airport transfer in Beijing

First off thank you for the service you provide!

If i'm flying in to the Capital Airport at 5:30pm on Wednesday March 25th and fly out on the Saturday March 28th at 5:30pm, will the subways be too crowded on Line 1 and Line 2 for a traveler with one luggage to take for my arrival and depature? I plan on catching the airport express train from Dongzhimen.

Also what would my expected arrival and depature times be if my hotel was near Wangfujing Station. Thanks in advance!

Well, the subway would be crowd at the rush hours. When you arrive and head for your hotel, it would be very crowded on metro. But on your way to the airport, it isn’t. It is ok for you to take a luggage to take metro, but it would be sufferring, Trust me!

Your arrival time in the hotel would depend not on the way you go from the airport to the Wangfujing Station, but also the time you check out at the airport. So I can just tell you that if taking subway, it would take around 65 min on the way. To go back to the airport, you’re suggested to start at around 1:00pm.
