About:China Transit Visa

Am I eligible for the 72 hour visa free entry in Guangzhou ?

Hi, My family and I are travelling from London to Sydney Australia and have a stop over of 11 hours in Guangzhou for which the China Southern will provide us with a complimentary accommodation. Do I need to apply to avail the accommodation( because the hotels are normally outside the transit areas)? If I do will I be eligible for the 72 hour free transit? I have a pakistani passport with an indefinite leave to remain in UK. Thanks

Well...I'm afraid you are not eligible for the 72 hour free transit. However, you can make use of the 24 hour free transit policy. If you want to leave the transit area, you need to apply for a temporary stay limit at the airport.
