Pareira, here we have just a tiny problematic detail. Everything would be perfect, but you really cannot exit mainland China (Shenzhen) via Luohu/Lo Wu border crossing. A very important detail is that at the time of your entry into mainland China you are in a possession of an exit ticket from mainland China toward a third country or eligible territory. In the case of your itinerary this is impossible to accomplish because there are not through transport services via Luohu/Lo Wu border crossing or, in other words, you cannot obtain a single, through ticket for this crossing in advance.
Your best alternative is to book your high speed train ticket toward Hong Kong directly from Guangzhou or from Shenzhen (the most convenient station in Shenzhen is definitely - Futian). Also, it is essential that you buy this ticket even before you depart toward mainland China because you will be asked to present your exit ticket in both Macau at the time of your boarding of the ferry to Shekou and also when you arrive in Shekou. Also, you will really have to take exactly that train you have bought your ticket for. The wisest way is to print out that ticket and to have it at hand, ready to be presented to the immigration authorities in both Macau and mainland China.
One more detail... When you arrive in Shekou you will see some of the arriving passengers to apply for a Shenzhen 5 day visa on arrival. Do not do that because this is not what you want, but you will apply for a temporary entry permit under 240 hour visa free transit. So, be focused. I wish you a nice journey.
