Cruising out of Shanghai

Im flying into Shanghai & cruising out 2 days later, am I eligible for the visa waiver or will I need the entry permit?

Debbie, only if your stay in Shanghai is not more than 24 hours can you make use of the transit policy, so I think you need to apply for transit G type in advance.
