About:Visa Policy of China

72 hr visa Bne to HK to Chongqing to Helsinki

I am flying from Brisbane to transit in Hong Kong -4hours - to Chongqing overnight hotel 3km from airport, to Helsinki next day. If I eligible for the 72hr free transit? is there anything I should do before departure? Thank you.

Yes, Nev, you are eligible for the 72hr free transit. Before your flight gets to Chongqing, you should tell your airline that you want to use the policy. Then the airline will notify the immigration authority in Chongqing. After getting off the plane, you can go through the formalities at the airport. Then you can leave for your hotel.
