About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Does this 72 hr Visa-Free apply if I hold a US Passport flying into HK & will be driving into ShenZhen/Guangzhao for a 2 day visit?

No, this is only for air passengers who transit directly through Guangzhou Baiyun Airport.
