Hi, you should apply for an L type entry permit at the consulate general in Auckland. The documents you need to submit are your passport, a photocopy of the info page of the passport, a completely filled application form pasted with your recent bare-headed photo, the original and photocopy of your entry permit for New Zealand, and round-trip tickets and hotel reservations for China.
