I want to recharge a Prepaid American Express card at a Chinese bank. Also a prepaid VISA is another option I am interested. I want to buy things from the internet while recharging my card at a Chinese bank using RMB. Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I am afraid that Amercan Express in China doesn't provide prepaid cards. According to what I know, American Express just cooperates with some Chinese banks to issue credit cards. And it's very difficult for a foreigner to apply a credit card in China. In fact, foreign credit card can be used to buy things. If you already have a credit card, you can use it to buy things online.
