Can American Express credit card be accepted in Chongqing department stores? In which ones, if any?

Can the reply be in both English and simplified Chinese characters?

I don't know in which department store it can be used, but I saw a young man paid in Carrefour (家乐福) with American Express credit card. You can have a try.
