Apply china citizen.

My friend she give birth to her baby in Malaysia but after 2years later, now she want apply renunciation Malaysian citizen for her baby and apply china citizen for baby. My friend was holding china citizen actually but she married at Malaysia. So may I know the whole procedure is how to process ? She don't mind of losing Malaysian citizen.
