About:China Visa on Arrival

Emergency Visit

Hello, I am a Jamaican passport-holder currently residing in Canada (with valid Permanent Residence permit). My mother (who is a Chinese citizen and is in China) is severely sick in the hospital in Guangdong and I need to go immediately to be with her. I am thinking of getting the Visa on Arrival for family emergency purposes at a Shenzhen port. Could anyone please confirm that this is possible?

Thanks!

Yes, this is possible, but you need to provide a certificate from the hospital you mother is in and had better confirm whether you can get the VOA with the port office or immigration office before your travel.
