About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Am I eligible for the 72 hour free transit visa in both Beijing and then in Shanghai?

Hi there. Thanks for your website! It is very insightful and indeed helpful. I am planning the following trip:
Sydney -> Guangzhou (2 hour transit) -> Beijing (60 hour stop over) -> Seoul.

Then 3 weeks later

Seoul -> Shanghai (Pu Dong) (24 hour stop over) Shanghai (Hongqiao) -> Guangzhou (2 hour transit) - > Sydney.

Having to use two different airports in Shanghai makes me believe that I may not be.... Thanks heaps!

Scott, you are not qualified for 72 hours free transit because you stop by two cities in mainland.
