Will this relationship last?

I was in a 15 year+ relationship with 1 daughter. 2 years after I split up I met someone very different to me. She was very keen to get into a committed relationship. A year after we met she was pregnant and we married before the baby came last month. I do not see my first child who is teenager now because we have not recovered our relationship. I have seen her twice in 4 years. My new wife doesnt want me to have contact or support her. Have I made a mistake? I will be quite old when this child is grown and maybe I wasn't a good father first time round. Will this relationship last? We get on but I think I may have been trapped into it because of the baby. I think my wife loves me and I want to do the right thing but I want to ask will this relationship work or will it be rocky and full of heartache? My birth date is 28 April 1970
