can I get z visa from Hong Kong?

Hi there, i just wanted to make sure if i can apply for Z type from Hong Kong, I am Egyptian citizen currently in China studying but I got job offer and I got all my requirements ready to apply for Z type but I want to make sure of I can apply in Hong Kong or do I have to go back k to Egypt to apply? Right now I have X type and I wanna change it to z type in Hong Kong, is it possible? Thanks in advance
