Do I need visa when i cruising on a ship and one day stay in Sanya island China?

HI, my question is about visit for one day. I will cruise Asia but for China.

Hey, if your stay in the city is not more than 24 hours, no visa is needed.
If it is more than 24 hours, you can just apply for one transit visa with your passport, a passport-size colored photo and other relevant documents.
