About:China Transit Visa

7 hours layover in Guangzhou

Hi I'm a German citizen and I have a flight to Manila with a 7-hour layover in Guangzhou. Do I need anything (Visa) in order to enter the city for sightseeing for a few hours?
Do I need to collect my luggage?

As you can make use of the 72 hour free transit policy, you don't need anything special to enter the city for sightseeing activities. You can consult with your airline for whether your luggage should be collected.
