About:China Visa Application Requirements

I'm traveling to China along with my daughter to visit my husband. I have s2 type valid for 3 months

Whether I can travel with a one way ticket to China as we intended to apply for dependent visa in china.?

Travel agency says I need round way ticket. please advise me on above matter

If you are applying for the S2 type, no flight tickets are required for the application.
