About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

Visa for Shangai for 2 days

I will be flying from London to Shanghai and stay for 2 days before going to Hong Kong where I will stay two days and then return to London. Do I need to apply for the transit entry permit for my stay in Shanghai ? I am a UK citizen.
