About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Taiwan to Japan

Hi,

Would I be able to use the free transit visa from a flight from Taiwan to Japan? My wife has a U.S. passport and I have a HK passport.

Thanks

You itinerary is OK for using the 72 hour free transit. However, you need to get a Travel Mainland Permit for Hong Kong and Macau Residents, namely, the Home Return Card.
