Trip to Hong Kong on June / Sept 2015

Hi Planning a trip to Hk either on early June or Mid Sept 2015 . Please advise which month will be more cooling to go?
May I know the clothes which suitable to bring for my kids (18 months and 7 year old boys) Thanks!
