If I fly USA->HKG->CTU->HKG->NRT (only connecting in HKG, no stay), can I stay 72 hrs in Chengdu?

Hi Lothar, flying from Kong Kong to Chengdu and then back to Hong Kong is not considered as a valid transit, so the 72 hour free transit is not available for you.
