can i enter Hongkong with less than 6 months validity passport?

Hello, please answer me quickly if you can, i am having a business trip to hongkong 27th of Jan 2015, my passport expires 27 of Jun 2015. i asked in the consulate and they said they do not know if i will face problem while entering!
if i enter hongkong before the 27th of Jan should this solve the problem?
