Do I need a visa for one cruise day in Shangai?

We are going cruising in October 2015 with one of the port calls being a day visit to Shangai.

Can you provide more information? How do you arrive in and leave Shanghai? How long will you stay in Shanghai?

Hi Betty,
Thanks for the reply.
Our visit to Shanghai is a port of call in a cruise itinery, the cruise ship arrives in the morning and leaves in the evening of the same day.
