About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

What document to bring to apply long term visa for Malaysia spouse who marry to China citizen?

We marriage in Malaysia in 2008. Now, preparing to stay in China with my husband. Is my marriage certificate & child birth cert need to be translate in mandarin? Any extra document to bring along?

Lili, you also need an invitation letter from your husband. I assume that you have Malaysian marriage certificate and Malaysian child birth certificates, right? If so, you'd better get these documents translated, notarized at local notary office and then certified by your Ministry of Foreign Affairs before you take them to be authenticated by Chinese embassy.
