Visa to China for a Tunisian expatriate in oman

Dear sir,
I am a Tunisian expatriate residing in oman and I am willing to visit Beijing next September for one week with my family. Do we need to apply from the chinese embassy in muscat or is it a free visit? Could you please inform me about all the documents I need to prepare in case a visa is required. Thank you very much in advance

Hi Samir, it's necessary for you to get an L type. Documents you need to prepare in advance are as follows: passort with a validity of at least six months and two blank pages, a photocopy of the passport's data page, an application form, a recently taken passport photo, the original and photocopy of your residence permit in Oman, and roundtrip tickets and hotel reservations.
