About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

im flying from Amsterdam via Guangzhou to Sydney but will have 14hr stop in Guangzhou

so will I be allowed out the airport or is there anywhere inside the airport to rest and freshen up?

Hi, Tracy! You will be allowed to go out the airport, what you need to do is to apply for a stay permit at the airport.
