About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

I am flying to Beijing and I have a 2 1/2 hour stop over in Shanghai to get the connecting flight

I am flying to Beijing and want to get the 72 hour visa. My flight to Beijing has a stop over in Shanghai.
Am I eligible for the 72 hour transit?

Due to the stopover in Shanghai, you are not able to enjoy the 72-hour free transit. The 72-hour policy requires passengers only stop once in one airport in China.
