About:Requirements for China Green Card (Permanent Residence Permit)

65 year old US citizen married to Chinese. Do I qualify for Permanent Residence?

My wife and I married in China in April 2006. I have been working in the Middle East and will retire in March 2015. I plan to live with my wife in China in our home there.

Based on your current situation, you are not qualified for applying the permanent resident.

You have not lived in China for 5 consecutive years. After you live in China for 5 consecutive years and shall live in China no less than nine months every year with financial guarantee for living and a residence.
