About:China Transit Visa

Visiting china on a cruise ship.

Why don't visitors arriving on cruise ships enjoy the same free entry visa as visitors arriving by plane. Cruise ship visitors are in each port for less than 10 hours usually and in that time spend a lot of money in Chinese ports.
Thank you
Frank

Hi Frank, visitor arriving on cruise ships do enjoy the 24 hour free transit as visitors arriving by plane. However, they are not eligible for the 72 hour free transit, as the policy is only available in airports.
