About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

S1 VISA WASHINGTON DC USA

Applied with my daughter who is 10months old holding US passport and am holding a Nigeria passport, I have studied and graduated in China with no criminal record or anything. Wondering what might be the delay, I called but they still told me it's not ready yet. They will call when it's ready, anybody please advise. The process for the s1 type has taken 2 months now and no reply yet

King, it normally takes four to five working days to deal with your application. And you will have the result on the fourth or fifth working day. Did you submit all required documents? It shouldn't have taken so long. However, the consular officers have the final say. Even you are refused, you won't get any explanation. You may wait patiently. No news is good news.

I submitted everything. And the consular even asked me is it 1year am applying n I said yes n he even helped me to correct it n said he will call me when it's ready. That everything I submitt is ok, I shou just wait for there call when is ready. I was even thinking hope the ebola crises is not one of the case affecting the process, because am from Nigeria. I have a green card here , I got back from China on the 6th and applied on the 10th . Don't really know.
