About:Chinese Consulate in Christchurch

South African passport holder. Are Visas required and can they be obtained in Christchurch?

I have won a trip to China through Christchurch casino - flight to be arranged through casino to Guangzhou on 15 Feb 2015 return 26 Feb 2015 from Guangzhou. I am the holder of an South African passport and will have the holder of a New Zealand passport traveling with me.

Hi, Johannes, both of you need to apply for an L type. Your companion can apply it in the Christchurch Consulate-General. However, you must apply it in the Chinese Embassy which is located in Wellington.
