About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

do we need to get Visa if we will just stay on the ship and not go inland?

we are going on a cruise which will stop over at Hong Kong ,Shanghai, Beijing and Taipei ports.

If you stay on the ship and do not enter the ports, you needn't to apply for it.
