Our family is wondering if China celebrates Christmas on Dec 25, as we do in Canada.
Our son is there now for teaching for one year, and we are wondering if their celebration is in February,
for the Chinese New Year. Thank you kindly. Pat from Canada.

Well, in this city, many shopping malls, markets or entertainment venues will have several celebrations such as performances in the Christmas. But compared with Chinese new year in February, the scale is smaller. The celebrations during the Chinese New Year are grander than the Christmas Day. :-)
