About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

i am singaporean and my daughter is a citizen.

My wife is PRC and the daughter 1yr 4mth like to stay with grand parent in China for a long period instead of two months L type

You can go to the Sigaporean CVASC and apply for a Q1 type. But would mind telling me if you couple would also stay with your parents? Because there are diferent rules for the situation.

No. We are not staying with my wife parent. Only the child under 2 years old. If i want to stay in China for more than 6 months. I will.need to do the same application. Thank for replying me. Appreciate

If so probably, your kid is sent to the grand parents for fostering/taking care, right?
If so, the documents are really different. The kid needs to provide the valid passport, an application form with a recent taken photo, you and your wife's passport, your kid's birth certificiate, a consent letter from the grand parents and your wife's resident permit in Singapore.

If you want to stay in China for more than 6 months, you need to provide your valid passport, an application form with a letter, your marriage certificate, an invitation letter from your wife, her Chinese ID card's copy.
