Ang suggestions for a One Day Itinerary in Shanghai

Hi. I am planning to visit for a day. I will be coming from Hangzhou by morning train and take the last train trip going back the same day. Anyone who can suggest a one day itinerary? I would like to include the Bund to this itinerary and looking at the area nearby where we can reach by foot. Peoples Square or Nanjing Road maybe?

Your suggestions would be a great help. Thanks a lot.

If you only have one day, then you must go to these places: the Bund, East Nanjing Road, People’s Square, City God temple and Xintiandi.
The former three places you can reach by foot one by one. If going to Xintiandi, you can take subway line 1 from People’s Square to South Huangpi Road. After getting off, just walk to the south. To City God Temple, you can take subway line 10 from Xintiandi to Yuyuan, and then walk to the east.
