think I met the one. Will this ruin the relationship?

I just recently met a man and he is a horse. I am a dog according to Chinese astrology and we havent known each other long, maybe a week, and I have feelings already. How is this possible? I want to spend all my time with him but because I feel like this I am starting to be insecure that we will not last. I do not want to sabotage the relationship but my insecurities are growing just as well as my feelings. It seems as though alone I am so confident but when I start falling for a man, I become insecure. Should I deal with my insecurities first before getting involved with someone?
