We are thinking of traveling to China next year 2015 on 15 day cruise/tour visiting various parts of the country. We have to purchase our permits first, so we would like to know when the validity date starts is it from the date of issue or from the date we first enter China. Thank you

The validity date is from the issuing date. You are suggested to apply it around one month in advance to avoid any problems.
