Dear Sir, i live in Bangladesh and my girlfriend lives in UK. I used to live in the UK with her for a long time more then two years. i came for holiday and i have lost my passport. I did apply for the permit for UK with the new passport but i got refused. So i am thinking to meet her in Hong kong next may. Would you mind to tell me what are the procedure for hong kong permit please. Also can you please suggest me any other country we can live for permanently? getting the permit for UK is difficult so we are planing to settle in Europe. It it possible? For your situation, you can only apply a Visit/Transit Type for visiting HK. Then you need to prepare the following documents: your valid passport, an application form, a recent taken photo, your hotel bookings, round trip tickets, bank statement and travel plans. You are suggested to mail all these documents to HK Immigration Department for application directly.

Zaved, you may confirm this with Chines embassies in European countries. Previously, I heard that many Chinese embassies didn't accept application for HK visa anymore. It takes four to six weeks to apply from HK Immigration Department.
